My dear friend and her husband are expecting their first little one in a few months. I plan on making bunches of socks, booties and slippers in a rainbow of colors for the little one. They are waiting to find out if it's a boy or girl, which will be a fun surprise! (I'm hoping for a boy!) After I find out if it's a him or her, I can knit clothes accordingly.

I am finding it very hard to find sock patterns for newborns. So far I've only been able to come up with patterns for 6 months old through toddlers.  Suggestions?

I have reduced the slipper pattern several sizes down to what I hope will fit a newborn. I need to borrow a baby.
